Welcome offer value

The welcome offer is valued at approximately $1,000.

Card rewards - good card if you travel with United

The card_name is a super card for you if you travel with United airlines. In addition to the welcome bonus, you earn 2 miles on all United purchases, which are worth approximately 1 penny per point.

You also earn 2 miles on dining, at gas stations, at office supplies stores and on local transit and commuting, and 1 mile on all other purchases.

How to redeem your points

You can redeem all your miles towards award flights with any one of the following United airline partners:

  • United Airlines
  • Aegean Airlines
  • Air Canada
  • Air China
  • Air India
  • Air New Zealand
  • All Nippon Airways (ANA)
  • Austrian Airlines
  • Avianca
  • Brussels Airlines
  • Copa Airlines
  • Croatia Airlines
  • EgyptAir
  • Ethiopian Airlines
  • EVA Air
  • LOT Polish Airlines
  • Lufthansa
  • Scandinavian Airlines (SAS)
  • Shenzhen Airlines
  • Singapore Airlines
  • South African Airways
  • Swiss Airlines
  • TAP Portugal
  • Thai Airways

You can book award flights using your United miles with United Airlines and its partners here.

With the card_name you have expanded award availability on United flights when you book award flights.

Offset your annual fee

The card annual fee is just $99. And here’s a tip. You can Pay Yourself Back by paying for the annual fee on your card and offsetting the fee with miles. You can get 1.5 cents per mile. This equals to just 6,600 miles (and remember, you’re getting a bonus of 5,000 miles each cardmember anniversary year so all you’re paying for the annual fee is just 1,600 miles…).

Earn a United credit

You get a $100 United travel credit after you use your card for 7 United purchases of $100 or more within a cardmember year. This is another good reason to use this card for United.

Anniversary bonus points

Earn 5,000 bonus points each cardmember anniversary, if you have both the card_name and a United Personal credit card.

Card benefits

There are so many more benefits on the card that will greatly enhance your trips with United. Here they are.

Upgraded statuses

  • Premier upgrades on United flights (only for Mileage Plus Premier members)
  • Get boosted to a higher status faster! Earn up to 1,000 bonus Premier Qualifying Points. Earn 25 PQPs for every $500 you spend with your card (up to 1,000 PQPs per calendar year).
