There is a lot of confusion about which benefits and credits Amex Platinum authorized users get.
We did a lot of research on the subject and we reached out to Amex to clarify as well.
Amex has 4 types of Platinum cards. Let’s discuss each one.
Amex Platinum Business ($695)
You can add authorized users on three levels.

No matter on which level the authorized user gets added, the authorized user will earn the same rewards on purchases as the primary.
The credits mentioned above, even though the authorized users don’t get their own credits, the primary can share each credit with it’s authorized users. Purchases made on the authorized user cards are eligible for credits, up to the maximum amount allotted to the primary.
The Gold level costs $45 while the Green level is free. But they both have the exact same benefits.
Amex Platinum Personal ($695)
