We redesigned the entire credit card database from the ground up!! We added many more functions based on our users feedback and we created a brand new experience.

New and better way to report your results

Our readers have been using the database to share their credit card approval results with the HMBC crowd. Scrolling through hundreds of approved or declined credit cards, with accompanying details such as the user’s credit score at the time of applying, the credit limit approved for, and more, is an awesome way to learn bank trends and what and who they tend to approve.

And now, we redesigned the reporting results section on HelpMeBuildCredit to make it easy-shmeezy for you to submit your credit card approval results. The renovated database makes for a super user-friendly experience.

New! Share your approval with friends

Getting approved for a credit card is exciting. Why not share it with friends? 

Once you add a submission to the database, you get the option of sharing your approval.

If you choose to share, a beautiful poster is created for you, congratulating you on the approval! (Only available on mobile version).

You can share the poster on social media and show off to others :).

New! User profiles

When you submit a credit card result, the database will automatically generate a username for you; how does cool-giraffe sound? The username is automatically designated to your IP but you can change the username to whatever you want. That’s if you’re labeled cool-giraffe and you don’t go for it.

We didn’t want you to have to create your own username and password because we know people don’t like doing that, so we set up our system to automatically generate an account for you, based on your IP.

All the results you submit will be saved under your username. How cool?

Even more than that, any user scrolling through the credit card database submissions can, at any time, click on the result username to see all the other cards this user has submitted to the database.

Yup, we revolutionized browsing user submission results, and here’s how.

• Nice and easy viewing

With a completely new design and layout, the database is now a visually appealing platform making it all the more fun to use.

• Like and Dislike results

Bring likes into the credit card database world! 

On the bottom of every card submission, you can click on the thumbs up or thumbs down buttons to like or dislike the result. 

• Show all results for a specific card

If you decide you want to see all the submissions for only one card, you can simply click on Show Only This Card beneath the card image.

The database will display the results for only that card.

• Choose a credit card easily

You can click on the orange, right-hand side button, Go To Card, to check out the full credit card page on the website, directly from the database. No more having multiple tabs open or starting a new search.

New and improved filters

As always, we made sure you could narrow down your search, or the submissions, by using filters.

Choose a bank

You can select a bank from one of more than 10 banks. Meaning, if you’d like to see only American Express cards, select Amex to have only those submissions displayed.

Choose a state

You may choose to view submissions that came in from the state you live in. Now it is easy to do so by selecting the state you’d like to see submissions from.

Choose a credit bureau

And choose a credit bureau. Maybe you know your Experian report is currently not the best so you may choose to see submissions from Transunion or Equifax only, so that you can make an educated and relevant decision through browsing submissions that are applicable to you without your Experian report.

Quick filters

An extremely useful tool, you can select one of the ready quick filters. 

We set some quick filters that we know people search often or like to see; such as to see cards approving with high limits, so that it is there for you to search with the click of one button.

We released the credit card database just over 2 years ago. It quickly became a smashing success, with great feedback.

We can only thank our readers for that, for contributing your results and keeping the database alive and kicking. Since the release, we were able to collect close to 3,000 credit card results!!

In appreciation to our users, we wanted the database to be as user friendly as possible. Redesigning it from the ground up was the best way to go. The database now has all of the functions you require, is beautifully displayed, and runs smoothly.
