A newly minted addition to the HelpMeBuildCredit family, let’s talk about the search bar!
The one objection some of my readers had about the site was the absence of a search feature. A search bar would allow readers to search for topics or terms of interest.
My reasoning for the lack of one was always for fear of imperfection; those faulty search results that got nothing to do with what you’re looking for, the search engines that keep loading and loading; I wanted nothing of that.
And to get perfection takes time. So here at HelpMeBuildCredit, we invested the time (lots of it!) and fundaments, and worked from scratch to develop an extremely advanced search engine, suited for our passionate and dear readers.
About the search bar
You’ll find the search bar on the top, left-hand side on the web pages.
The search feature is built on learning technology. That means it will pick up on everything readers are searching for and keep adjusting the results according to the search dynamics. The more the search feature is used the better it will perform. Let’s go for it!
Whenever searching, you’ll see Trending Searches come up.
Those are a bunch of items your fellow readers put into the search bar, updated in real-time. It’s fun to see what others are in to. Be part of the latest!
How to get best results
The search bar is not Google. So for one, you want to put in concise keywords as opposed to sentences or questions.
Let’s use an example to help polish up our search muscles.
Say you’re looking to build your credit. You might type in “looking to build credit”. Nice and specific, but for the search engine, this is a phrase too long. For such a search, you’re only going to get limited or no results.
Rather, search “building credit”. If that’s not specific enough, search “build credit”.
The takeaway is to use specific keywords or terms and that will get you the most direct results. If you’re not getting results from one search, change the terms or words a bit to try for more.
Good luck and I sure hope you’ll be using and enjoying the new search feature as much as I am already! It’s as beginners perfect as can be and with your help, we can get some more perfection to it.
I’ll be here to accept feedback and constructive criticism, which is always appreciated! Just send off an email to [email protected] or WhatsApp me here.
