An HMBC forum was created!
It was in great demand and in 2024, we finally decided to launch it. An HMBC forum! The HMBC WhatsApp forum is where our many credit and credit card geeks come together to share ideas and information.
The HMBC forum is almost a year old and has quickly gained popularity. Members of the forum are excited to have a place where they can gain so much knowledge, share travel hacks, ask and respond to questions, discuss rewards and points, and the list goes on.
The WhatsApp forum has 11 threads, each one on a different topic:

There’s back and forth, and a lot of golden nuggets have been shared over the forum.

Comparing cards was revamped!
Close to the start of 2024, we completely revamped the comparing cards tool on Help Me Build Credit.
Now you can just drag credit cards from the search and drop them into the compare panel.
You can keep browsing while you click to compare the card details in depth. You can expand one benefit/card detail at a time to compare the same detail between all the cards you dropped into the panel.

During the summer, we ran an interview featuring Bryce Van De Moere, a lawyer who is very competent in the how’s and why’s of credit card chargebacks.
The interview was featured on the HMBCpodcast and a transcript was also sent out by email.
We heard valuable information from Bryce and it was eye-opening to get the backend view on chargebacks.
We meant business!
More recently, we expanded our blog to include discussions about building business credit.
Although my expertise is in personal credit, users asked me to write about business credit.
So I did a lot of research on it, and as a result, we already released over half a dozen comprehensive posts about business credit.
We also opened the doors for guest posts on the topic of business credit so that experts in the field can impart their knowledge to our users.
