Best Credit Cards For Google Ads [2022]

- Feb 17, 2022 Credit Card Info0 comments

Statistics show that 209.49 billion dollars were spent on Google ads in 2021!

Did you know that you can get up to 4 points in rewards on the money you spend on Google ads, if you strategize and use the right credit cards?

In this post I’ll show you the cards to use to make the most of your money spent on Google ads.

Best credit cards to use for Google ads

1. card_name

Welcome offer: Earn 70,000 points after spending $10,000 within the first 3 months (terms apply).

Bonus value: Approximately $910 (approximate rewards value 1.3 cents per point)

Annual fee: $375

Card rewards: The card_name gives you the most points on Google ads than any other card. You earn 4 points per dollar spent.

The rewards structure works as follows; you earn 4 points on the 2 categories where you spend the most each billing period (up to $150,000 in spending annually). The categories can be one of the following; U.S. gas stations, U.S. wireless purchases, U.S. restaurants, select media, and advertising (Including PPC Marketing), select providers of computer hardware, software, and cloud solutions, transit purchases, and electronic goods retailers.

The 4 points are capped at 150k annually, but you can get up to 10 card_names per person. Each card_name will have its own $150k limit (please note that you can only get approved for up to 2 Amex cards in 90 days, so every 90 days you can do another two cards).

Things to know:

  • Points can be transferred to many airline and hotel partners and you can earn a value of 1.3 – 2 cents per point to cover travel expenses (this can effectively earn you 8 cents back on every dollar you spend on Google ads!).
  • You only earn the 4 points in the U.S. marketplace.
  • Each card has a $150k limit (but as noted above, you can have up to 10 cards per person).
  • The card has a $375 annual fee.
  • The card does not have a pre-set credit limit*. Your purchase power will increase as you use the card and pay back.
  • The full balance will be due at the end of the month.

2. card_name

Welcome offer: Earn 100,000 points after spending $15,000 within the first 3 months.

Bonus value: Approximately $1,250 – $1500 (approximate rewards value 1.25 -1.5 cents per point)

Annual fee: $95

Card rewards: With the card_name you will earn 3 points on every dollar spent for Google ads.

The 3 points are capped to the first 150k you spend annually. But you can apply for multiple card_names under different business entities (or if you only have one business entity, you can apply for the card_name and the card_name. After 12 months, upgrade them to the card_name. Each card_name will have its own $150k limit).

Things to know

  • Points can be transferred to many airline and hotel partners and you can earn a value of 1.3 – 2 cents per point to cover travel expenses. If you have the card_name then you can redeem the points for 1.5 cents per point to book travel on Chase Travel.
  • You earn the 3 points in both U.S. and foreign marketplaces.
  •  Each card has a $150k limit (but as noted above, you can have multiple cards under different businesses).
  • The card has a $95 fee.

Once you max out on both cards, you can get the card_name and earn unlimited 2% cashback on all purchases, including on Google ads.

3. card_name

Welcome offer: Earn up to a $3,000 bonus. Earn $500 after spending $5,000 within the first 3 months. Plus, earn an additional $2,500 after spending a total of $50,000 within the first 6 months.

Bonus value: Approximately $3000 (or even higher with miles)

Annual fee: $150

Card rewards: Earn unlimited 2% cashback on all purchases

Things to know

  • The cashback you earn with the card_name can be transferred over to miles. Each penny will turn into one mile. You will need to have a Capital One card that earns miles in order to do so. Mile cards can either be a Capital One Venture card (all flavors) or a Spark Miles card.

*No Preset Spending Limit means the spending limit is flexible. [In fact,] unlike a traditional [credit] card with a set limit, the amount you can spend adapts based on factors such as your purchase, payment, and credit history.
