Blue Cash Everyday

Overview 

The Blue Cash Everyday Card From American Express is a fairly easy credit card to get approved for. There may be a welcome bonus as well. Check the link for details

Points Earned

  • 3% cashback at us groceries on up to $6,000 in yearly purchases.
  • 2% cashback on purchases by USA gas stations and select department stores
  • 1% cashback everywhere else

Balance Transfer Terms

  • Balance transfer fee:  3% or $5- whichever is greater
  • You cannot transfer balances from other credit cards issued by American Express
  • To receive the intro APR offer, transfers must be completed within the first 60 days after account opening.
  • Beware:  If you make a late payment or a payment is returned then a penalty APR may apply and you may lose the Intro APR offer.

Application Tips

  • Fair credit is ok.
  • You can only get approved for two Amex cards in 90 days. Amex also has a rule that one customer can’t have more than 5 Amex credit cards (excluding charge cards.) Therefore, if you already have 5 open Amex credit cards you may be declined (this is not always enforced).
  • Amex usually pulls your Experian credit report.
  • If declined you can call 1-800-456-1083 to be reconsidered.
